Catena Farm's Terms and Conditions Form (Farmer + Member Agreement)
Please read all criteria carefully if you are purchasing a CSA Membership. By agreeing to this form you have agreed to all the policies outlined by the farmers. When you finish reading it and if you agree with all terms, hit the back button to proceed to checkout.
I understand and agree that there are no refunds available for our CSA memberships - all sales are final.
I understand and agree that if I miss my basket, my produce will be donated and no refund will be issued.
I understand and agree that if I know I'm going to be away one week I will let my farmers know and make the proper arrangements (as outlined in the FAQ) ahead of time.
I understand and agree that if I know I'm going to be away one week my options for making up that basket are arranging for a friend/family member to pick up my cooler and storing it until I get back, or doubling my basket on a different scheduled basket day, or offering to donate my basket and having my farmers harvest and drop off fresh produce to those in need.
I understand that it is up to me to let the farmers know if I am moving before the season starts. I also understand that the farmers have the right to say no and/or cancel my membership (without a refund) if I don't inform them before the season starts and my new location is too far out of our delivery range.
I understand and agree that it is up to me to have a large/extra large sized cooler, box, or bag(s) out and ready for my farmers to deliver my produce. If there is nothing available, the produce will not be left and my share of that week's value will be forfeited.
I understand and agree that it is up to me to have my cooler, box, or bag(s) easily accessible for my farmers during delivery. If there is nothing easily accessible, the produce will not be left and my share of that week's value will be forfeited.
I understand and agree that it is up to me to put my produce away in a timely manner. If veggies are left out all day and wilt (or freeze) it is not the responsibility of the farmer and no refunds will be issued.
I understand and agree that if I choose a half-share I get a food basket every other week and not every week.
I understand that the Spring Share is a total of four consecutive weeks only.
I understand that the Fall Share is a total of four consecutive weeks only.
I understand and agree that when I purchase a CSA Membership I am making a commitment to remember my delivery day.
I understand that my farmers are working in a time when climate is changing, can be unpredictable, and therefore the availability of the produce is weather dependant. If there is a crop failure(s) I understand that my basket(s) may be lighter or in extreme cases, may not be able to happen.
